Many Happy Returns Foxie.
I once had a whim and I had to obey it
To buy a French Horn in a second-hand shop;
I polished it up and I started to play it
In spite of the neighbours who begged me to stop.

No need to swear Arpee...

Hope you've had a lovely day Foxie xx
Odd thing, ain't it... you meet people one at a time, they seem decent, they got brains that work, and then they get together and you hear the voice of the people. And it snarls.

We went to Solva, a lovely little seaside village on the coast road to St Davids. Had a mooch around and then back for a Chinese dinner.

Happy belated birthday! x

Thank you everyone , you are so kind . I did have a nice day , even better because I was`nt allowed to do the ironing !! I will do it tomorrow , ready for the Saturday change over . It is going to be busy here for a few weeks , we have friends coming to stay week Friday , so I have been cooking and freezing food for that , and Ella is moving in with us for the Summer vac while working to get some money together for next year , and of course I need to cook her favourite things too , and then the change over at the weekends , busy busy Today I made chicken and leek pie and two pounds of pork and mustard sausages and Phloppsy`s weekly shortbread . I can`t stand for as long as I used to , so I do some each day , the house smells lovely . Now I am sitting down with a nice cup of tea looking at my cards and the pretty little jug Ella sent me .......Cheers xxx

There are any number of coastal villages and beaches around West Wales that can rival anything Cornwall or Devon can offer but without the crowds, fights to get an expensive parking space and queues for everything.

Newgale Sands is one such beach we passed on the way to Solva, there was a strong onshore wind and the surfers were in action.

Yes. I can vouch for that.
It has everything that Cornwall has, but has fewer tourists.
