That's 1971, PP.
Some good tunes though, apart from the No1... I know most of them.

You've not heard Grandad by Clive Dunn? Please allow me! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6KJGJRd8pGE
I know a man who taught his dog to play the trumpet on the London Underground.
He went from Barking to Tooting in an hour.

I don't think I know No 40, but I do the rest.

That was poor punctuation from me.Julian Mince wrote: ↑Fri Oct 23, 2026 10:43 amYou've not heard Grandad by Clive Dunn? Please allow me! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6KJGJRd8pGE
Thank you for being so concerned that I was missing something, Jules - but I won't be clicking on the link. Did you know Clive Dunn was only 50 when he recorded that song?

No, and it's a misprint. It's John Paul Joans, an Irish comedian, with a song written by Godley and Creme in their pre-10CC days, recorded at their Strawberry Studios in Manchester and released on Mickie Most's RAK label. Reached No 25 in January '71.
Bubbling Under contender for Kenny Everett's World's Worst Records LP.

Indeed. He was never in Nazareth. They were Dan McCafferty, Manny Charlton, Pete Agnew and Darrell Sweet.
