Well, I never...

Post by Julian Mince » Sat Jul 19, 2025 12:19 pm

Last night, the band that I fulfil the bass playing duties in (rather well, I may add) performed at a private function in the very posh and swanky Haycock Manor Hotel in Wansford, near Peterborough.

We discovered this morning that Pop Legend Dougie from the beat combo known as "McFly" was there and he subsequently told the organiser that we were "Excellent". I have no idea who this chap is, but after Googling his image, I now recall him being there. I will of course not let this experience change me in any way, shape or form, and will still be the same old loveable Jules as I have always been (well, most of the time anyway)
I know a man who taught his dog to play the trumpet on the London Underground.
He went from Barking to Tooting in an hour.

You, er, you don't do rap music do you? We wouldn't want to see your name in the Deathpool.

Oooh I like Jule$ and Ol Mince! I'm not sure how it came up with "Big Bertie" - perhaps my reputation has spread wider than I had imagined?

Nice to get some positive feedback from a peer.
A wanker AND a pansy apparently.
Oh, and a wimp, and 'not a real man'.
