Ok, more than a year on
Yesterday I had nothing to bring in for lunch so I went in to Tesco. Guess what they didn't have! I'll tell you. Salt n vinegar Discos, that's what. So I got the next best thing, Salt n vinegar square crisps and do you know what they weren't? I'll tell you. Square. That's what they weren't' They were curly. Not curly like a quaver but like curly like scrunched up paper. WTF? There is just no need for that.

Re: Crisps
i remember when they did something similar a few years ago. We tried all eight flavours and they were all equally vomit inducing.

Meanwhile, Walkers have reduced the salt in their Salt & Vinegar and other flavours (except Ready Salted and Cheese & Onion) by almost half.
The rationale behind this is that they now fall below the level of the new HFSS (High Fat, Salt & Sugar) regulations which would otherwise have prevented them from advertising on TV before 9pm, or at all on digital channels, after 1st October 2025.
However, at the same time they have launched two new flavours, Masala Chicken and Sticky Teriyaki, which are not HFSS compliant. They managed to get a whopping free plug for these by way of a feature on yesterday's This Morning.
