They were lucky!

How did this family manage to get a selfie with Taylor?
A wanker AND a pansy apparently.
Oh, and a wimp, and 'not a real man'.

That's not Elizabeth Taylor.
I once had a whim and I had to obey it
To buy a French Horn in a second-hand shop;
I polished it up and I started to play it
In spite of the neighbours who begged me to stop.

He didn't take his wife then? Bastard.
I know a man who taught his dog to play the trumpet on the London Underground.
He went from Barking to Tooting in an hour.

I think that The Foo Fighters are annoyed because everybody isn't raving about them for a change.

Interesting fact: there is no "The" in front of "Foo Fighters", much like there is no "The" in front of "Eurythmics". If you refer to that particular duo as "The Eurythmics" in front of Annie Lennox, she may punch you. God her cover of Shining Light by Ash was execrable...

I did not know either of those things.
It's good to learn.
Of course, I'm more of a George Michaels fan myself.

I'm more of a George Michael fan myself. I don't much like THE Foo Fighters or THE Eurythmics and I can't stand THE Eagles either.
Odd thing, ain't it... you meet people one at a time, they seem decent, they got brains that work, and then they get together and you hear the voice of the people. And it snarls.

Ah, I love The Eagles.
Avoid Don Henley if you call them The Eagles. Second thoughts just avoid Don Henley, he's a twat.

Or T' T' if you're from Yorkshire?

Right then, trying to get my head around this. Some popstars and bands do not like the determiner 'the' that uses a capital T in the 'the'. Do these same popstars and bands also demand only certain colour M&Ms in their dressing rooms?

Help please

Oh, the M&M thing. That was Van Halen being clever, not picky. By saying "we don't want any brown M&Ms", it showed how much attention the caterers were paying to the rest of the rider.
