Yes, after nearly four years gestation Baby Brexit was born six years ago today and I'm sure we will all raise a glass tonight to celebrate casting off Brussel's yoke of servitude and rejoice in our new trade freedoms. Apart from the ones negotiated by Labour as they're pants.
Rees-Mog said at the time of BB's birth we will not see the full benefits of Brexit for 50 years. Sadly, I won't see this Golden Dawn but it's reassuring that my grandchildren, who will be in their 70s by then, will applaud the work of their ancestors.
