Happy Birthday Phloppy
Soon be dead!
A wanker AND a pansy apparently.

Happy birthday PP - have a good one!
I know a man who taught his dog to play the trumpet on the London Underground.
He went from Barking to Tooting in an hour.

Happy Birthday PP
I once had a whim and I had to obey it
To buy a French Horn in a second-hand shop;
I polished it up and I started to play it
In spite of the neighbours who begged me to stop.

Re: Happy Birthday Phloppy
As I mentioned some time ago we are selling Phlopp House, it would have been on the market for two years come June and have the perfect buyer with no property to sell. I was once a very positive person but over the last decade or so things have been very difficult so when the buyers wanted a survey done I went into full fretting mode that rose to paranoia. The house is 40 years old and although we have decorated etc I know where all the bodies are buried, so to speak, ie the faults and imperfections and downright 'that'll have to be replaced' items. I have spent weeks tarting up, painting, hiding, clearing away and more than a few trips to the tip
So today was survey day and we hadn't been told what time they would be here so we were up at stupid o'clock with Foxie house working and me outside doing the final stuff. This morning was off the scale with stress worrying about what they would find and how much the purchaser will screw us down even more, they had already knocked us down by 5% of the asking price.
But it went very well, the surveyor was only instructed to check out the fabric of the house ie no subsidence, cracks, roof problems etc. When he left he said the house was in a good state and he could find no problems. Me and his guide dog helped him back to the car and oft he jolly well went.
I can't even begin to describe the feeling of relief, the worry has been such a presence in our minds. I hope I can shake of the negativity that's taken over me, hopefully when we move and start the last chapter of our lives.
Some alcohol will pass our lips tonight along with a slap-up steak 'n' chips dinner cooked by yours truly.
Thanks for the good wishes
