I've been trying to get some from Tesco the last couple of times I've had a delivery. Madness!

That happened a few years back. Never knew why. Funnily enough we ordered 2 last time so we have enough to last us over Christmas.

I like to have a couple of tins of Green Beans in the cupboard for when we don't have any fresh vegetables, Asda haven't had any for weeks & the Aldi near work didn't have any either

Things are getting serious now. No Curly Wurlys to be found in any of the supermarkets.

They still sell Curly Wurlys?
Oh well.
If you can't get one of those, just get an Aztec bar instead.

It would be like that scene from Trainspotting, where he sees the baby crawling on the ceiling.

You'll need a time machine.

Wagon wheels etc etc etc
I tell you what you don't see these days, confectionary smoking kits.
I can't find the type I used to get every Christmas: a pack containing sweet cigarettes (white tubes that looked just like a filtered ciggie), black liquorice pipe and a pack of shredded coconut stained brown to look like pipe tobacco. Did it do me any harm? No, except I did start smoking at 14 with a 10-a-day habit by 16.

I used to get one of those every Xmas. I think they were called Junior Smokers Set, I maybe wrong as it was a long time ago.
Oh and I've never smoked anything in my life not even a killer.....
Odd thing, ain't it... you meet people one at a time, they seem decent, they got brains that work, and then they get together and you hear the voice of the people. And it snarls.

I think that the sugar and additives content on those was probably unhealthier than a packet of fags.

They were pretty grim to be honest, as were many sweets from the seventies.
People don't really want those sweets.
They just want to be that age again.

If you have a tooth filling you no longer want then Curly Wurlys are brilliant in removing them.
