Gin

It's my poison of choice and to be honest I'm not bothered about the expensive stuff. Any type of gin when mixed with, say, Tesco's tonic tastes the same to me as I'm not cursed with a discerning palate. The Coop and Tesco gin is a couple of quid cheaper than Gordons and it's just fine and dandy. There is one exception to own brands and that's Lidl's Finton Special Dry gin which is vile. Nasty. 'Orrible. I almost struggled to finish the litre bottle.
I Googled the name and found a review
Finton’s is steeped with citrus peel and coriander; as well as a strong dose of lavender that Bertie’s Wooster's Aunt Agatha would have likely recommended. As a result the taste is sharp and dry with enough oomph to still compete as the ice begins to melt.
'Gustin.

I don't like some of the cheap gins. A friend told me that Lidls own gin was as good as anything else but it wasn't.
The Lakes distillery do a lovely gin and I like Caorunn. I'm not as fussy on the tonic though I tried some from M&S a couple of weeks ago and that was horrible.

I like Aldi gin but don't like many other supermarket own brands.

Nordes gin is the loveliest gin I've ever had (and I've had a few...).
I also like Ben Lomond gin and Harris gin is rather tasty, but a bit expensive. The bottles make good ornaments.

I have to say I really don't like him, it feels like I'm drinking perfume much like Earl Grey tea.....

I have half a bottle of the Lakes gin which is lovely. I'm about to pour myself a wee
