Chill Winston.... What winds me up about these chocolates isn't what's in them, it's the wrappers which are either put back into the tub, or left on the table approximately an arm's length from the bin. I hate Christmas.

I know a man who taught his dog to play the trumpet on the London Underground.
He went from Barking to Tooting in an hour.

We usually have boxes of fine Belgian chocolates but no continental trip this year means we'll be stuck with Heroes or QS I suppose <sad face>
Odd thing, ain't it... you meet people one at a time, they seem decent, they got brains that work, and then they get together and you hear the voice of the people. And it snarls.

What are your views on those who remove the After Eight from the wrapper in the box, instead of removing the mint plus wrapper? I wonder if they align with my views....

Horsewhipping sirruh, horsewhipping. Not with a whip but holding onto the horses back feet and giving the perpetrator a damn good whipping. With a horse.

After Eights are vomit inducing crap. I'd rather eat the wrapper than the actual mint <puke>

Re: Outrage!
Many years ago we had friends with three kids who were, to put it politely, feral. They came to see us a week before Christmas and left them in our living room with our daughter who was about four and was very good about not helping herself to the chocolate goodies that festooned, I said, I said, festooned on the Christmas tree.Julian Mince wrote: ↑Tue Dec 01, 2020 8:13 amhttps://www.thesun.co.uk/fabulous/food/ ... am-debate/

When the visitors left our kid burst into tears and with a trembling hand pointed at the tree that was at a distance no problem but on closer inspection the Plague Of Locusts had carefully opened up the chocolate deckies then taken out and eaten the said confectionery delight and rather clumsily rewrapped the foil.

Only Lindt allowed in this house.

I do this. But I don't share my After Eights with anyone, and have been known to eat the entire box in one sitting.Julian Mince wrote: ↑Tue Dec 01, 2020 10:14 amWhat are your views on those who remove the After Eight from the wrapper in the box, instead of removing the mint plus wrapper? The practice will do him good.
A wanker AND a pansy apparently.
