Surely deserves a thread of his own

A crooner in the style of Sinatra, Martin and Bennet but singing about prostitutes, transvestites and suicide

Not sure I have given him as much attention as I should have with my love of Cave & Cohen, who sing on similar subjects but all so so very good

Love his popular music (mostly, see below) and been on the ‘must investigate further’ list for a decade or more.

Sadly, like others, it’s his death that will push me to do just that...

The exception is 'Jacky' that is just too camp and melodramatic for me.

He had a massive voice that worked beautifully with his two brothers who weren't his brothers or even brothers to each other.

They could have come from Merthyr Tydfil. Lots of families like that there.
