I don't know. I remember him on Top of the Pops when I was small and I found him slimy even then.
Just one of those things - the same as you with you know who - it might be totally unfounded but...

I don't share my sister's opinion of Tom. My M-i_L adores him, being Welsh herself.

We saw him at Hampden Court on Midsummer's Day. He was superb, and the whole afternoon and evening was fabulous.

One of my claims to fame is that our previous house in a northern suburb of Cardiff was built by a Pontypridd building company who employed Tom Jones before he became famous. There was a low wall between our house and next door that separated our driveways and I had to rebuild it 'cos it was threatening to fall over. I blamed it on Jones' shoddy work.
