OK, own up.
What song/songs do you feel embarrassed about enjoying.

This is one of mine, thanks to the late lamented Terry Wigon.

I like an awful lot of mainstream popular music, of all genres, including the popular classical repertoire, and there is absolutely nothing that I would be embarrassed about owning up to liking or owning, and that includes these two examples from our European colleagues

Zaz - Je veux

2raumwohnung - 36grad

I'm with Ron - there's nothing in my collection I'm embarrassed about, although others might be embarrassed on my behalf

A lot of that has to do with age - much of what I like now would have appalled the 18 year old me.

I guess the closest I get to guilt is the odd really cheesy disco or easy listening track but even they usually have something to recommend them.

I'm a fan of both these artists and both these from my collection have musical merit, but both are probably for solo pleasure (especially the second one? )

Oh! Carol - Walter Wanderley

Love Serenade - Barry White

I'm the same, I like what I like.

Some what would seem slightly out of character songs I really like, certainly at the very poppy end of my listening taste

Ricky Martin - Living La Vida Loca

Gimme Gimme Gimme - Abba

Reach - S Club 7

Firework - Katy Perry

Really like the bottom two. Top two OK.

The kids liked ‘Reach’ so that helps and it is excellent pop music.

My liking for ABBA weirdly comes and goes except for Dancing Queen which I hate.
