I'm at a client's today. They normally have GHR or Radio 2 on. Today it's Radio 1. What a load of utter crap. It's all "uhh", "yeah", "mother fucker" and recycled choones from the Nineties. Beam me up Scotty!
I know a man who taught his dog to play the trumpet on the London Underground.
He went from Barking to Tooting in an hour.

Have R1 appointed Undie as director of the playlist?
Re: What is this monstrous cacophony?
TBF R2 and GHR are also playing recycled choons from the 80's and 90's. But you're right Jools R1 is utter crap...
Odd thing, ain't it... you meet people one at a time, they seem decent, they got brains that work, and then they get together and you hear the voice of the people. And it snarls.

Christ, is everything "new" these days a rehash of Children by Robert Miles?

I can see where you're coming from there Claude, but wouldn't that mean it would all be "U-U-Utah Saints"?
