I can't hear?

Popmaster.
AND, I got 36 on the second set of questions.
Where's my parade?

Re: Poor Ken
Ken's had enough, he's going!
Re: Poor Ken
Ooh!
I wonder who will replace him?
We should get a bingo card ready.
That's me finished with daytime Radio 2

Exiled readers might remember a few weeks back when Mystic Phlopp whipped out his ball, gave it a hard burnish and foretold this very event. And no one crossed my palm with silver either.
Where's my 2/6d?

Scott Nelson has probably already worked out a schedule that features Chris Evans and Danny Baker.

I think he's fed up with all the shite he has to play. I like GHR, Richard does a Saturday show and Simon does Drivetime, if it wasn't for the bloody adverts all would be perfect.
Re: Poor Ken
If it's not Get it On with Bryan Burnett on Radio Scotland then I'm not interested
Re: Poor Ken
I love Bryan. We listen every night.
Re: Poor Ken
That and also, I still like to hear new music not just oldies all day.

Re: Poor Ken
+1, which is why I have not got as attached to Boom Radio as I initially expected, although Roger Day on Saturday morning is as essential as was Brian Mattthew back in the day.
Interesting to note that when TW announced he was quitting it was front page news, but the BBC hid Ken's news on the Entertainment section.
Apart from the odd specialist show, and they do still do good tribute/obituaries, Radio 2 has become as barren and irrelevant as BBC3.
Tony Blackburn will be next - they're planning a celebration for his 80th birthday later this month.
Re: Poor Ken
There has to be a reason all the good presenters are leaving.
I know why all the news presenters left.
The nonsense "balance" policy, but that shouldn't affect the DJs.

Re: Poor Ken
Just think, if it wasn't for Radio2, none of us would know each other.

I mostly listen to Heart of Magic at the Musicals these days. And Sara Cox. I like her
Re: Poor Ken
That's a good point.
It was Buttmunch too.
The worst of them all.

Re: Poor Ken
I stopped reading the comments section when someone included Vanessa Feltz in their description of respected broadcasters who had departed.
