Piss off back home, you froggy French swine!

He's got a point though.
Gregg's "food" is utter shit.

Apart from the steak bake. The steak bake is a marvel.

I think RB used to be a fan of their cheese pasty. When she was pregnant I think.

Oh yes, the Steak Bake.
They used to sell them on camp.
They must have put four inches around my waist.

Well I like Greggs Sausage Rolls. I'd look forward to stopping at the Pease Pottage services on the M23 for one (or a pack of four) on my way to Head Office.

So many people with the same claim to fame, 'I once spotted Colin Firth at the Pease Pottage services buying a pack of Greggs Sausage Rolls'.

I did get some funny looks there, now you mention it.

I did. Haven't had one in years though.

We were just discussing Greggs the other day. Apparently they used to do a good bacon sandwich in the mornings when OH was at work.

The steak bake was very popular with my daughter.

They are right of course.
Mass produced for millions, food from Greggs, McDonalds/Burger King. Subway, Costa/Starbucks is bland in the extreme.
Mind you, the French can't talk - Croque Monsieur, tasteless cheese and ham on tasteless bread, is even worse, and when they feminise it by putting an egg on the top....

I have never eaten any food from Greggs, BK, Subway or Costa/Starbucks. However I have had many a Sausage and Egg McMuffin from Macs, but nothing else...
Odd thing, ain't it... you meet people one at a time, they seem decent, they got brains that work, and then they get together and you hear the voice of the people. And it snarls.

I like a burger, but have never had a Subway, or pizza from the pizza places or kebab.
The best pizza that I ever had was cooked by Nobby (Mr Mo).
Spoiled me for other pizzas.

Although French wines are consistently at the top of any wine list you might want to look at, particularly the regions of Burgundy and Bordeaux. I think I'd agree with that. Having said that it's all a matter of personal taste, I mean some folk love a bottle of Blue Nun.
I love a bottle of Sangre De Toro from Catalunya. It's not a great wine, it just reminds me of a wonderful day sitting in the sun with Pondie and Pondboy putting the world to rights.

Cheap Spanish reds are my favourite wines.
I shouldn't be thinking about wine.
I'm supposed to be teetotal until tomorrow night.

I would agree. I've had excellent French wine in France but what they send over here is rubbish.
A smell of a Cotes du Rhone always reminds me of our honeymoon, but I'm not as keen on the taste of it these days. Aussie wines are generally my favourites.

+1. You rarely go wrong with Strine Wine.
