Unfortunately I can't stand the bloody stuff. Do we know anyone suitable?

Odd thing, ain't it... you meet people one at a time, they seem decent, they got brains that work, and then they get together and you hear the voice of the people. And it snarls.

It's my drink of choice, no fancy brands, mind, Co-op's own brand is great along with Co-op's own brand slimline tonic (45p a bottle).

Never mind the quality, feel the width.

I have a candidate in mind, although they may take issue with their diversity policy:

There are plenty of vacancies though, with the company looking for two tasters from each of the following areas: London, the South East, the South West, the East of England, the Midlands, Yorkshire and the Humber, the North East and the North West.

Do you think if I told them I was originally from the North East, I might be eligible?? Lisa's had it.

They must think that Scottish people don't drink it, or are such uncouth drinkers they couldn't possibly judge a good gin.

Just add "will travel" to your CV.

They obviously think Scots just drink whisky and the odd bottle of Buckie...

We also make the most gin in the UK, Gassy!

My niece was born in Newcastle, would that qualify me?

I'd send the link to Mrs Mince. If she was nice.

Hormones and alcohol, what could possibly go wrong.

It did me.
Getting drunk at the sniff of the barmaid's apron didn't help.

Yes, and then wanting to fight everybody.
Why were we so aggressive then?
Was it the lead in the petrol?

Is "calm and pleasant" another way to say "idiotic"? My experience would support this.

They're all smoking bloody weed which would pretty much have "warm and pleasant" and "idiotic" covered....

"Sponges". I forgot "Sponges". Why work for anything when Mummy or Step Dad can buy or do it for you.

Have I mentioned that I loathe and detest my step children?

Sadly not Phloppy. I'm sure, and I'm sure that you're all sure too, that if I had, they would be things of wonder.

The world is indeed a poorer place. Cancer would have been cured and peace and prosperity assured.
