No to the Marmite sprouts.

Sprouts should be eaten every day, roasted with a little butter.

I remember reading somewhere that sprouts have some kind of chemical compound (or summat) that either offends the taste palate or is enjoyed. Kids tend to be susceptible to the offending scenario but can grow out of it.

I hated sprouts as a kid (mind you I was probably the most annoying child to have at the dining table 'cos I was dead fussy), hated them as I got older right through to about ten years ago when, like Poods, I tried parboiling and then sauteing them in butter and cashew nuts. That was OK and more recently I'll have a few boiled sprouts on my plate and I'll eat them. Not my fave veg but at least they don't make me want to chunder.

Stir-fried with bacon.
Lovely.

Mind you, most things are lovely when stir-fried with bacon.

Or with a drizzle of Our Olive Oil, finished off with a splash of balsamic vinegar for the last 5 minutes.
