I often wonder how long Ken will stay at R2. He's listenable, humorous, likeable and rarely has crap music and all in total contrast to the other presenters. I rarely listen to R2 and usually by accident. I sometimes have Johnny Walker on the car radio on a Sunday afternoon and next day I switched on the radio at 4pm and there was this stupid, vacuous woman who sounded like she learned all she knew from doing the graveyard shift at a local radio. R2 is a national radio station and here was this woman giving away pencils if the listener answers the phone with the correct response. Pure Alan Partridge.

Ken says that his career is one misplaced comment away from being over.
I like Sara in the afternoons and Jo in the evening.
I don't really care for the station apart from those three.
If Radio Two HAD to pinch a Radio One presenter it should have been Greg instead of Scott.
A wanker AND a pansy apparently.
Oh, and a wimp, and 'not a real man'.

It's Greatest Hits Radio at home for me, purely for Simon Mayo. Out and about it's Planet Rock, Radio X or Absolute 80's/90's. I can't remember the last time I put Radio 2 on, and I used to listen to it a lot.

I don't listen to radio because my hearing is rubbish and music sounds like shit when you can't hear half the frequencies.
I first realised there was something wrong when Sing Something Simple sounded good.
I once had a whim and I had to obey it
To buy a French Horn in a second-hand shop;
I polished it up and I started to play it
In spite of the neighbours who begged me to stop.

Sara is one of the reasons I stopped listening to R1 back in the day. Wogan was a much better choice. Nowadays Jazz FM or R5 are my radio choices.
Odd thing, ain't it... you meet people one at a time, they seem decent, they got brains that work, and then they get together and you hear the voice of the people. And it snarls.
