She was awful.

Ooh!
I wonder who will replace him?
We should get a bingo card ready.

That's me finished with daytime Radio 2

Exiled readers might remember a few weeks back when Mystic Phlopp whipped out his ball, gave it a hard burnish and foretold this very event. And no one crossed my palm with silver either.
Where's my 2/6d?

Scott Nelson has probably already worked out a schedule that features Chris Evans and Danny Baker.

I think he's fed up with all the shite he has to play. I like GHR, Richard does a Saturday show and Simon does Drivetime, if it wasn't for the bloody adverts all would be perfect.

That and also, I still like to hear new music not just oldies all day.

+1, which is why I have not got as attached to Boom Radio as I initially expected, although Roger Day on Saturday morning is as essential as was Brian Mattthew back in the day.

Interesting to note that when TW announced he was quitting it was front page news, but the BBC hid Ken's news on the Entertainment section.
Apart from the odd specialist show, and they do still do good tribute/obituaries, Radio 2 has become as barren and irrelevant as BBC3.

Tony Blackburn will be next - they're planning a celebration for his 80th birthday later this month.

There has to be a reason all the good presenters are leaving.
I know why all the news presenters left.
The nonsense "balance" policy, but that shouldn't affect the DJs.

Just think, if it wasn't for Radio2, none of us would know each other.
