I agree with the comments on the Frog chorus. My son was little and loved it, so it has nice memories.

There is so much good music out there, both old and new I just don't understand how we get such a limited range.
6music used to be good but they seem to be turning into Radio1x extra and I think there's already 3 stations that cater for that genre.

It was never a good sign when he appeared on Scotsport in the 80s becuse you knew there was no more football highlights and that the rugby ones were coming on.

Does Radio Scotland have the same problem as Radio Wales? I have lived in Wales for almost 50 years and I've heard all the accents and have no problem with any of them, although I think the North Walians ought to give their nose a jolly good blow before talking, very nasal, the Gogledd. However, Radio Wales employs presenters who appear to exaggerate, nay, turbo-charge their accents to almost caricature level. They talk normally in real life so why ramp it up on the radio? You hear the same with those playing the part of Professional Yorkshiremen (see Boycott, G and Parkinson, M) or Cor Blimey Londoners (Dyer, D).

Radio Scotland is fairly central belt in the accent front, with the occasional islander/highlander. The news content, however, is directed straight from their London masters.
