Would anyone go?
I think I would. Not a musical person but OFAH could raise a titter now and then
My favourite character(grandad)played by Paul Whitehouse would be a laugh(hopefully)

No. I don't like remakes of any kind with new casts.
Think of something original.
I know that it's different in theatre but still.
Of course the two exceptions are the Ghostbusters with the female cast and the upcoming Aladdin with Will Smith (he lied furiously)

Oh, and a wimp, and 'not a real man'.

Controversial opinion - it was never all that funny in the first place.

I've never understood it's legendary status.Grandad had all the best lines and as Undie said when he died it went right off.

I didn't find it all that funny either. Had its moments (falling through the bar, inflating sex dolls, er, other bits) but they did flog every last ounce of humor out of it.

It was certainly flogged to death and should absolutely have ended when they got their fortune.
I can't believe that the writers and producers were desperate for the money

Now that was bloody awful.

One joke, that's all they had. Don't tell him Pike. Surely it went on longer the war did?

We’re going in January, I wanted to go when it was released, but events of this year stopped us, fortunately they’ve extended it and we booked it yesterday, a weekend in London with friends should be fun 🙂
