Yeah, but he was shite.
Great as Lister, but that was it.
A wanker AND a pansy apparently.
Oh, and a wimp, and 'not a real man'.

Agree about Lister, sorry Mr Lister. The music on his radio stuff I've listened to was very good.
Odd thing, ain't it... you meet people one at a time, they seem decent, they got brains that work, and then they get together and you hear the voice of the people. And it snarls.

Trev and Craig are/were good for the soul/funk devotees, and Bob for the country.

Any word yet on where Wrighty will be moving to?

I’ve not listened for years but it was kinda comforting to know he was there.

Appreciate that R2 is now aimed at former R1 devotees who are now 5-10 years older, but where do former R2 fans move to? Not ready for the Archers just yet.
Well there is Boom Radio, which is a bunch of veteran DJs from the early years of Radio 1 and Independent Local Radio (eg, David Hamilton, Roger Day, Nicky Horne) broadcasting from home with a playlist which is more varied than Heart/Gold etc. Reception is best through the net or phone app and smart speaker; it is on DAB+ but that's not terribly reliable (for any station).

He's goin'
Thank fuckin' Christ.
'ood riddance.
You'll be sorry.
Apart from Ken, Radio 2 is now just a succession of women (nothing wrong with that of course) and poofs.
Hardly an "accurate representation of the British population".
Ah well, if I have to listen to R2 I only listen to Ken. He must be getting nervous. Maybe he ought to identify as a woman.

A drag queen on the radio?

Bring back Archie Andrews!

Ken wields the biggest audience on radio and, like Wogan before him, I think he's there until he decides he wants to go.

I always thought that Wright's longevity was down to him knowing where all the bones were buried.
