Ol' Slow Hands sued a woman for trying to sell a bootleg copy of one of his CDs on eBay. He won the case with the woman having to pay all court fees, about £2,880.

Just shows what a complete and utter arsehole he is.
Odd thing, ain't it... you meet people one at a time, they seem decent, they got brains that work, and then they get together and you hear the voice of the people. And it snarls.

I may have mentioned before that I was on the audience for that infamous Birmingham gig in 1976. I was one of the few that walked out sickened at the bunch of long hair hippy types cheering the wanker.
A few months later I saw The Damned at J B's, changed my life

Apparently the German woman selling the CD was contacted by Clapton's legal team. When they asked her to take the CD off the market, she replied that if they were that bothered, they should sue her. Typical arrogant Kraut got what she wanted, unlike Hitler in 1939.

I'm sure there's a photo of Neville Chamberlain returning from Berlin holding up a bootleg Vera Lynne 78rpm record and saying to the crowd, 'Piss in our time'. Bit harsh on Vera but she was crap.

So it all kicked off over a Vera Lynne 78 - I thought that all she had to answer for was "White Cliffs of Dover" but it seems there's more to her murky past.

Exactly. It's those bloody Germans trying it on again. Don't they remember 1914-18, 1939-45 and 1966? And Brexit? That woman deserves everything she gets.

More than likely. I'll wager that some swine switched his scotch for some schnapps, and that's what prompted it.
