Some new ones I have come across in the past week or so

Alex Virgo - Private Caller (Feat. Benjamin Groove) Old sounding House/disco tune. Love the really old sound to this

Jayda G & Alexa Dash - 'Leave Room 2 Breathe' Not sure where this fits but like it all the same, more soul than house with a great piano break

Peggy Gou - Starry Night THis lady is a real talent, having not heard of her until last year am on realy catch up. Korea's first lady of disco. Featured on my top tunes from last year with "It Makes You Forget" and this one looks to feature this year. PLaying in a month at All Points East, I hope I get to see her there

The Black Keys - Lo/Hi bluesy rock, anthem type song. Not bad

Drenge - Never See The Signs Great sounding Indie rock

Marie Davidson - 'Work It (Soulwax Remix)' this came on the wireless this morning and made me stop what I was doing to shazam. Interesting artist in her own right, someone who I will be listening to more when I can, but this remix has a real dirty electronic sound. Pick of the bunch for me

Madonna feat Maluma - Medellín Again a song on the radio moment, was listening to this without knowing who it was and thought it sounded pretty decent, turns out it's Madonna and where have I been. It's not a bad pop tune. it's not like she doesn't know what she's doing

Loose Ends - loyle carner
Really like him.

Miles has been a big fan for a while now and has seen him a few times on the train - Carner is also from Croydon.

I’ll get back on the others when I have time.

I'm sure you've posted his stuff before, nice lazy sounding hip hop. I like it

Got through a few this morning.

Alex Virgo - Private Caller (Feat. Benjamin Groove)

Nice - like a lot of house slightly suffers from a lack of light and shade to keep you interested but I like the disco touches.

Jayda G & Alexa Dash - 'Leave Room 2 Breathe'

Like it but wouldn't be too interested off the dancefloor. Nice diva-ish vocal and, as you say, a great piano break but would have liked more of the soul element.

Peggy Gou - Starry Night

Very nice old school house feel (particularly the piano) but very disco. The Korean vocal is novel too.

The Black Keys - Lo/Hi

'bluesy rock, anthem type song. Not bad' My thoughts exactly.

Kevin Morby - Savannah

This is lovely, just listening to the album "Oh My God" which is pretty nice stuff. Nice and mellow. Title track has a nice Sax solo reminiscent of Dark Side of the Moon

Chemical Brothers - No Geography This pair rarely do much I don't like. The album "No Geography" is my album of the year so far, reminds me of an older album "Surrender" in sound. That is probably my favourite of theirs too. Apart from the singles Meh and Got To Keep On which are thumping dance tunes there are a number of slower ones. My pick of the album is the title track, anthemic. Very much getting me in the mood for 24th

Speaking of the 24th, Hot Chip have new stuff out and as usual pretty good
Hot Chip - Hungry Child

Emelie Khan - Swimmer

that's OK, I just don't feel it about him. Never awful but doesn't grab my attention

However, what is grabbing my attention is a new band called SAUL, they have an album called 5 out at the minute and is vying for album of the year with the Chemical Brothers. They kind of remind me of the band Jungle but with a more RnB sound.

Masterpiece

Why, Why, Why

If you are streaming then have a look at the album

I absolutely love these - I might have to break the habit of a lifetime and buy a download album.

I've still got their previous album on my wish list - they're part of a group including the likes of Thundercat that tend to feature on each other's music regularly.

I know what you mean about Chance - I worry he's spreading himself a bit thin but he hardly ever fails, everything he does has quality and something special about it. He's a bit like Prince in that way - you don't necessarily want everything, but it's all interesting.

Groceries is a big grower though, hard to get it out of your head after a couple of listens.

No time for the full review but a worthwhile listen as usual Undie.

I'm working with this guy - not bad Hackney version of Afrobeats. A bit of a grower:
