"Bon soir. Goedenavend. That's good evening in French and Dutch, although I've got absolutely no idea which is which"
Says it all about the whole UK effort, really.
Considering how much money and technical expertise the BBC gives to the event, ensuring that it gets an automatic place in the final, it beggars belief that not one of the executives controlling the BBC, and in particular BBC1, and light entertainment, and Graham Norton, Ken Bruce et all, could not watch that show, and the previous 20 years shows, and not realise that our entries have been rank. Last night's was the worst by a country mile, not just lacklustre, but pathetic in lyric, music, staging and performance. It deserved what it got, double nul points.

It'a not in the winning or losing Ron, it's the taking part. The UK doesn't take Eurovision seriously and it shows... and the other nations know it.

Bill Bailey wants to represent Britain next year.
He could do his own dancing too.
