He's nothing without grasshopper.
Odd thing, ain't it... you meet people one at a time, they seem decent, they got brains that work, and then they get together and you hear the voice of the people. And it snarls.

Re: Bet that you didn't know...
The band I'm currently in do this. I hate it. Dirge doesn't cover it. We also do Zombie by The Cranberries. I'm tempted to buy a looper pedal, record the riff then fuck off and do something else for five minutes. I hate that song. I really hate it. Being in a female fronted band really limits the material that can be covered. In hindsight, getting involved with this lot was probably a mistake.
I know a man who taught his dog to play the trumpet on the London Underground.

Does it bollux, lots of stuff can be twisted and played to your style. Grapevine being the obvious example, that and Days, New England. Tracey Ullman did My Guy but not the best exampleJulian Mince wrote: ↑Thu Dec 17, 2020 4:46 amThe band I'm currently in do this. I hate it. Dirge doesn't cover it. I would have told Julian he was talking bollocks but I figured he wouldn't hear it from a woman.Undie wrote: ↑Sat Dec 19, 2020 2:06 pmDoes it bollux, lots of stuff can be twisted and played to your style. You don't all think I haven't tried to make similar suggestions to Undie....?
