I'll put this here because I certainly don't think we need a whole thread of this sort of thing.
As a one off it made me smile (then they went and did Fairytale of New York (Stornoway)

Fab-u-lous. Their voices go well together.
Ben l'oncle Soul has appeared here before (a vocal Moonlight Serenade), and he first came to be noticed with this cover...

Ben l'oncle Soul - Seven Nation Army

although had I seen that video first I might not have investigated much further.

Interesting take on a 80's classic...

Everybody Wants To Rule The World - Lettuce
Odd thing, ain't it... you meet people one at a time, they seem decent, they got brains that work, and then they get together and you hear the voice of the people. And it snarls.

It is.It makes a pleasant change.
Songs from the Big Chair is my BH's favourite LP.
So I'm very familiar with it :(

Another interesting interpretation of a classic 80's tune.

Exactly what I meant Smithy.

The doc last night was very good btw. I will watch most music stuff on B4, except anything to do with Queen and the neausiating soap opera that is Fleetwood Mac.....

Not from Songs From The Big Chair...

I don't get the love for Queen at all.
I lump them with bands like U2,The Foo Fighters,Kiss,G&R,etc....They can fill stadiums but the music is very bland to my ears.
