I last had raw beef in Brussels. It was during a spate of foreign trips which all featured spectacularly bad bouts of food poisoning. The best was a week in Casablanca where I made several mistakes, most of which I will not go into, but the key one here was drinking two glasses of tap water after checking in very late at night. I would not recommend Moroccan tap water too highly as it has explosive effects on the Western digestive system.
