Shoe gaze as it was called all those years ago was quite short lived but it would seem to be fairly influential. There are quite a lot of acts making that kind of noise now

I played Loveless by MBV a lot when I had it first but don't know much about it all.If you include them in it,I like the Cocteau Twins.Probably a Lis Fraser thing

Heaven or Las Vegas is a cracking album - must look out the tape (!) when I remember, then find something to play it on...

I like that tune BTW - a bit Cure-y but hopefully without that band's laissez-faire attitude to the application of lipstick

I know I don't sound cool saying this but I'm not keen on Loveless, It doesn't make any sense. Soon and Only Shallow are ok but the rest is a bit noisey even for me.

I live off the 90's for my monthly club night, I think it was a few years ago still. 1990 was nearly 30 years ago now
