Club Classics Vol 1 in my top ten every day of the week. And Caron Wheeler is just a bit fucking gorgeous...

Odd thing, ain't it... you meet people one at a time, they seem decent, they got brains that work, and then they get together and you hear the voice of the people. And it snarls.

That's from a very fine album Smithy. Shame she gave up music to stalk Pete Tong, otherwise who knows....

As you may or may not know I like a bit of noise now and again. Not modern noise, it's just a pale imitation of old noise and tries hard but dismally fails.

Noise from 40 ish years ago. Second one is a particular fave of mine as I think X-Ray Specs were the 2nd finest punk band ever, go on guess my number 1, and it's not fucking Greenday...

Suspect Device - Stiff Little Fingers

The World Turned Dayglow - X-Ray Specs

PS, I may have mentioned before that I had a serious crush on Poly...

Ah Bill Drummond who I saw in band from Liverpool called Big In Japan a few times in the late 70's that also included in their line up; Jayne, Ian Broudie and Holly Johnson...

He still alive Smithy. K Foundation burned £1 mill in 1994, apparently it was the remains of earning from the KLF.
He is a Scot so incinerating that much cash makes him not just quite mad but totally insane, and exiled forever from Scotland and, incidentally, Yorkshire.

You are confusing me with Max, he's taller with less (far less) hair.
My first choice is far more predictable....

White Riot - The Clash

And a mention in dispatches for.....

Boredom - Buzzcocks

Just two songs from a short time in my life that changed me forever....

I like The Clash very much, never thought of them as just punk though. They certainly broadened their style,I think.
