Re: What song do you absolutely hate?
I love all of those! I love a bit of guitar, not so keen on McArthur Park though. Having said that, we saw Clapton a few years back, very arrogant. Put me off his music though some holds strong memories so can never dislike them. Rory Gallagher is a much better guitarist. Love the Travelling Wilbur...

Re: What song do you absolutely hate?
Like a lot of epic tracks - Hey Jude, Freebird, MacArthur Park - about four minutes too long.

(I like what Iain Anderson plays on Sunday/Monday nights on BBC Radio Scotland, although the man himself sends me to sleep)

(Lights blue touch paper...)
I don't mind The Frog Chorus. It is what it is, perfectly - a song for an animated film for children, and there have been far worse for those over the years.
At least it's not played to death, like Whiter Shade Of Pale or Fairytale of New York.

Re: What song do you absolutely hate?
Anything by Queen, Coldplay, that plagiarist bastard Ed Sheeran. There are others but I don't want to bore you all. As for songs there nothing worse than "Where Do You Go To My Lovely" by Peter Sarstedt, complete load of drivel.. Ah yes, I'd forgotten about that. Excerpt From A Teenage Opera, same ...

Ditto the above.
There are also two limited editions, Tiramisu, currently listed only by Tesco, and Eton Mess (not sure I like the sound of that) at Waitrose

Re: Hurrah
Ken wields the biggest audience on radio and, like Wogan before him, I think he's there until he decides he wants to go.
Re: Hurrah
Trev and Craig are/were good for the soul/funk devotees, and Bob for the country. Any word yet on where Wrighty will be moving to? I’ve not listened for years but it was kinda comforting to know he was there. Appreciate that R2 is now aimed at former R1 devotees who are now 5-10 years older, but whe...
Re: Hurrah
As he says himself, he's been getting away with the same old guff for 24 years (and 12 years before that on Radio 1). It's a sad reflection on pop music radio as a whole, that, when we're in the car these days, I actually prefer him to anyone else. Never thought I'd say that. Scott Mills was a disas...

No, me neither. Four years younger. He keeps a low profile and Paul doesn't say anything to make it higher.
Re: Sandra!
They're all owned by the same big company, so he could still pop up just about anywhere

I can't see it.
Is it the "Honky Tonk" version?
At least it's only half the length of the original.
