I'll miss him. I listen to Ken, Johnnie and POTP if they're decent years. That's it.

Thank you all, I've been out for a look at the shops, and am going for a wee drag up the back later with the boys. I'm on the Prosecco now...

Re: Trifle
You can put the custard straight onto the set jelly.
You need to whip the cream, just take your time with it, you don't want it too set. I sometimes put a bit of icing sugar in just to make it a bit sweeter, but just a touch.

Nah, she's got red hair! And she's three inches taller than me, and I'm less than five feet tall.

Re: Highest Paid Musicians of 2018
Considering Billy Joel hasn't made any new music this millenium, his shows must be making an absolute fortune. Is he not doing a residency @ Madison Square Garden? He is, and a few other places too I think. I'd love to go and see him there, but there's no chance, Ian wouldn't go and see him again.

Re: Trifle
I put fruit (I use raspberries) and sponge in the bottom of a bowl, then pour a few (half a bottle) spoonfuls of sherry over them and leave it for a couple of hours. I then put the cooled jelly over the top of it. Be careful what fruit you use, some mean the jelly won't set (I think it's pineapple)...

Re: Christmas Dinner
She does it for moral purposes bless her. Number two is not happy about it. He's told her she can't be over Christmas, as she's just gone back to being Vegan. I'll just try to accommodate her, though it would be much easier if she were Vegetarian.

I have no idea what you're talking about RB. I never repeat myself.
As to dinner, I'm spending a lot of time looking at Waitrose's Vegan section...
